Thank you in advance.

I have a MY1300 Beryl router with the latest software.

I have configured the gl-inet gui dashboard with IVPN wireguard protocol, enabled nextdns and the kill switch.

I have checked that wifi and LAN connections are going through wireguard and to nextdns.

I have not configured the firewall settings.

Am I good for a basic home setup?

Is LuCi just a more detailed method of configuration?

Do I need to config the LuCi firewall?

For MT1300 Luci may not be compatible in wireless config.

If your setup is working good I think you can leave it working like that.
