GL.iNet QoS?

I'm reading that it's not supported in the GL.iNet GUI. However, someone said that it'll be coming in the future? If true, which router will get it?

Just install "luci-app-sqm" and "sqm-scripts" plugins and configure it under Luci will do the job.

Hi

We are still in the research phase to see if we will add official GL QoS functionality.

At this moment, yes, please use Luci SQM first.
Please note that network acceleration must be disabled for it to work properly.

Was this feature deemed to be irrelevant and that's why it wasn't included in the firmware in the first place? I'm guessing if QoS ever materializes, it'll be in 2026 at the earliest?

Since we are currently only in the research/evaluation phase, there is no relevant information/release timeline to share.
