You can extend the 2 screws from the radio to hold it in a box.
I’ve printed (3d) a small box for mine to fit inside a dome, and am using extended screws to hold it in place.
PS: I don’t mind having a look at your modified quick start guide.

Not really needed anymore, but it’s looking good!
Thank you.
@Dan, totally no problem. Actually you can put your name and email there. We can make the docs open source and acknowledge everybody’s effort.
Can attach some photos with your case?thanks
MiFi Instructions are update. Now it is working in QMI mode.
Thanks Alfie! I quite like the QMI mode myself… B-)
Hello
I have one of your MIFI.
A friend of mine installed a firmware Open WRT modified that works very well.
I want to install that firmware to a new MIFI that I just bought.
How can I do that? Could you help me? My friend went to another country.
@Axel Jose, you can just upload the firmware from the web UI of MiFi to see if it passes the check.
Thanks alzhao for your quick reply. I didn’t explain myself correctly before. I’d like to know what to do to extract the firmware of that MIFI so that I can install it to another MIFI.
I want to know because I lost the modified firmware and it’s only on one of the devices.
