Hi, is there any way I can access statistics about the battery in a GL-MiFi? I haven’t come across any docs for this so far, ideally it would be command-line via SSH etc.

The battery is controlled by another MCU and it doesn’t talk with the router.

If you’re technical enough it would fairly trivial to connect a fuel gauge like the MAX17043G+U on this breakout board from SparkFun ( SparkFun LiPo Fuel Gauge - TOL-10617 - SparkFun Electronics ) using I²C over the exposed GPIO ( I2C [Old OpenWrt Wiki] ) to get a reading, implement the low power state and so forth.
