Unfortunately the original Beryl (GL-MT1300) had some features removed from the later firmware release due to CPU load issues / storage limitations. You can run legacy firmware with original features or you can go down the manual route and install plugins on the latest firmware.
I was disappointed to learn this and recently replaced my Beryl with the Beryl AX (GL-MT3000) model, removing features on the Beryl GL-MT1300 that were advertised still doesn't sit right with me but it's the path they chose.
