The GL-MT1300 is running the latest firmware (3.211).
The 3372 stick works elsewhere and is fine.
When I plug the E3372 stick into the MT-1300 USB slot I expected to see it appear as a 3G/4G modem, but it does not.
There was another thread that seemed to talk about this being fixed by changing the IP address of the MT-1300 to something other than 192.168.8.1 (so I changed to 192.168.10.1) but this has no effect.
It also talked about ‘tethering’ to the USB stick - but that did not make sense to me.
How do I get this Router to use the E3372 LTE Stick to provide internet access?
I’m struggling to setup the Huawei E3372h-325 together with my GL-A1300.
Huawei E3372 Device Information:

Software version 3.0.2.61(H057SP5C983)
Web UI version WEBUI 3.0.2.61(W13SP3C7201)

I have checked in my GL-A1300 (IP 192.168.18.1) under “Applications → Plug-ins”, if the packages kmod-usb-net-cdc-ether and usb-modeswitch are installed. Both have been installed before.
I have opened the Huawei E3372 configuration page (IP 192.168.8.1) on my PC to activate DMZ Setting with IP 192.168.8.100.
I have deactivated SIP and UPnP as well.
Current status:
When I plug in the Huawei E3372 to my GL-A1300 the following message is flickering up for some seconds:
Afterwards it is disappearing and looking like this:
I was not able to get the E3372 in working state.
Now I have purchased a ZTE MF79U and it was working right from the beginning. Afterwards I have deactivated the integrated Wifi + activated DMZ.
