GL-MT1300 pantech UML290 verizon USB setup

Hi,
The documentation for the GL-MT1300 states that the Pantech UML290 Verizon USB modem is supported and tested by “GL.iNet/steven”

Can someone from GLiNet, steven (or the community) please provide the settings that need to be specified? I’ve read the other posts and nothing works, yet it says it was tested, so somebody out there must have the proper device settings to make it work.

Thanks!

It should work in QMI mode.

If you have more info pls let me know.

I don’t have any more info, can you provide a configuration for the network config?

I don’t have the modem. It should be simple QMI config.

If it does not work for you, pls send screenshot and logs to investigate.

config:

config interface 'modem_1_1'
        option ifname 'wwan0'
        option service 'umts'
        option apn 'VZWINTERNET'
        option proto 'qmi'
        option device '/dev/cdc-wdm0'
        option node '1-1:1.5'
        option auth 'NONE'
        option metric '40'
        option disabled '0'

Does your SIM need to work with IPV6?

I don’t know, maybe, if so what should I try?

yes pls just try and see.

? again, what is the configuration attribute/value I should be using here?

Try to enabled ipv6 in more settings->ipv6
and check

Were you able to get this solved? I just ordered a modem and wanted to know if this was going to work as a plug n play solution…
