GL-MT3000 as LAN Repeater using same SSID

Hi there,
i bought a GL-MT3000 to expand my existing WiFi. Setup: The main box is a Fritz!Box 6690. There is an existing 2.5 GBit LAN throughout the house.

The first repeater is an old Fritz!Box 6660 which is connected via 2.5 GBIT LAN and takes over the SSID of the Mesh Master 6690 in the mesh.
The second repeater is a Fritz Repeater 1200 AX, which is connected via 2.5 GBIT LAN and takes over the SSID of the Mesh Master 6690 in the Mesh.

Now I would like to connect the GL-MT3000 via 2.5 GBit LAN as well. Here, too, the repeater function should be available, also using my existing SSID WLAN data. But then without Mesh.
I get everything set up, but as soon as my iPhone or whatever connects to the SSID via the MT3000, the data rate is 0. Nothing, but nothing at all goes through.

Where is my thinking error?

Repeater mode may not be what you after. Probably better off with it running as an access point. That may fix your issue…

Ah you’re correct. Now it is fine.

Except that the devices connected to the GL-MT3000 are no longer displayed in the network overview of the Fritz!Box 6690 and all devices are called “unknown” in the network overview of the GL-MT3000. But that’s something I can get over.

In any case, the speed is amazing. MT3000 with 2.5 GBit LAN connection and connected to the iPhone 15 Pro Max in the bedroom. nPerf simply says 1010 Mb/s down (1100 max) and 48.7 up (50.3 max).

Well that would seem right… the beryl would have the dhcp turned off in acces point mode… it’s simply passing the information to the main router. the middle man lol
