I am having this problem with the Beryl AX3000 after connecting and disconnecting to my wifi network created by this router (specifically I only use the 5ghz band), the link speed that gives me is only 192Mbps, which is garbage since I am connected next to the router, it is worth mentioning that when it is working well the link speed is 867Mbs in this case by the limitation of smartphone, I do not know if it is a firmware or hardware error.
I have tried different firmware versions and in all of them the same thing happens, it is as if the channel width is automatically lowered from 80Mhz to 20Mhz.
What is the firmware being used?
Is anything else connected to the router, a phone another wireless computer?
It could be the Power Management plan on the computer controlling the Wireless Network card.
I am using the firmware version 4.4.5, and it is not a problem with the power saving of the wireless cards of my equipment connected to the router, as I mentioned it is as if the router changes only the channel width from 80Mhz to 20Mhz, I do not know if it is a bug in the firmware or it is a hardware problem of this router.
Encryption is TKIP or AES?
WPA3 is usually faster
Please upload a screenshot of the router’s “WIRELESS”–"“5G WiFi” to check and analysis.
I think you can also try another phone to check the wireless speed.
yes i have already checked it in different smartphones and in all of them the speed link goes down.
Will you please share the router via goodcloud to GL support to analysis this issue?
Please contact to me via my email if you will. I will send you the document ‘how to share the router via goodcloud’. My email is “battista.xie@gl-inet.com”
