GL-MT3000 "Error: "inet6 prefix is expected rather than ""

Hello everyone,

I recently updated the firmware on my Beryl AX (GL-MT3000) router, which I’m using as a client, to version 4.4.5. After this, I’ve encountered connection issues to one of my Wireguard VPN servers. The error I’m receiving is: "Error: "inet6 prefix is expected rather than "".

To provide more context:

  • Server 1: Beryl AX GL-MT3000 with firmware version 4.2.3 (connects without issues).
  • Server 2: Beryl AX GL-MT3000 with firmware version 4.4.5 (connects without issues).
  • Server 3: Initially had firmware version 4.2.3 (faced connection issues). I upgraded it to 4.4.5, but the issue persists.

For all servers, I’ve already disabled IPv6 and enabled DDNS.

Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so, is there a known solution? I’d appreciate any assistance or insights.

Pls upgrade to 4.4.6 GL.iNet download center
Better not keep settings if you have issues.

I remember that this bug is fixed recently.

Hello,

The ;latest version is currently breaking my wireguard operation and I am unable to download the beta. Please fix this asap!

4.4.6 is not available under beta category. Shall I use the snapshot?

It is there now. Was fixing a bug.

I have a newly purchased MT3000 and unable to connect to my existing wireguard server (many other clients work fine).

I was using 4.4.5 and received inet6 prefix expected error, and found this thread. Now updated to 4.4.6 release 2, and erased all settings. New error for wireguard client is:
