Gl-MT3000 power supply question

Hi All . Looking at getting the GL-MT3000.
Questions regarding power requirements.
Soecs show <8w power draw

Setup as below
Ethernet cable from mt3000 to mini nuc pc . Connect to mt3000 on tablet via wifi .

Its for a field setup . No 240v available. My lipo supply has no inverter .
I have 5v 2.4a usb A output on my lipo 50ah powerbank .
And also a 30w PD usb C output available.

Calcs show at 5v , 8w current will be 1.6A , im assuming the usb A 2.4A rated output will suffice ?

Can i use the 30w pd output on the power bank ?

Hello,

When there is no USB device connected, the power consumption is < 8 W.

Unofficial power supplies need to ensure that their power supply is stable and can output a stable 5V voltage and a peak current 2A.

MT3000 does not support the PD/QC protocol. Recommended official power supply.

I believe the mt-3000 is the Beryl. There's no way that'll consume 3A, even with something connected to the USB.
I's say your 2.4A will work perfectly (as will the QC) but in any case, you've got the PD port which can chuck out 6A(!) at 5V, so where's the problem?
FWIW, I run my Collie on an 20W PD supply and it never misses a beat.
