GL-MT3000 - squid Proxy: install Error

Hello,

I can neither install the “squid” package via the “standard way” nor via the extended interface.

Error message:

Collected errors:

  • pkg_hash_check_unresolved: cannot find dependency squid for luci-app-squid

  • pkg_hash_fetch_best_installation_candidate: Packages for luci-app-squid found, but incompatible with the architectures configured

  • opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package luci-app-squid.

  • Modell

GL.iNet GL-MT3000

  • Architektur

ARMv8 Processor rev 4

  • OpenWrt Version

OpenWrt 21.02-SNAPSHOT r15812+885-46b6ee7ffc

  • Kernel Version

5.4.211

The error message indicated that squid isn’t available within the GL.iNet repo. Nothing you can do about it. Maybe the staff will add it, or you can try to download all the necessary files from the OpenWrt repo: https://archive.openwrt.org/releases/21.02.7/

But it will be a manual process and no guarantee for anything.

Thank you very much. A “manual” installation failed; it was not the right computer architecture, if I understood the error message correctly; I used aarch64. I did not find a more in-depth specialization on the device (mediathek). Maybe I am also wrong about the processor.

Afaik aarch64_cortex-a53 should be the right one.
