GL-MT3000 traveling question

Hello,

I would like to buy 2 router, one for my house and the GL-MT3000 for travelling.

I do not know if I can access to my home network through the GL-MT3000, in order to have my IP home address and surf internet from other country like I were at home?

Is that possible? So I conect my laptop to the GL-MT3000 wifi, and the GL-MT3000 conected to my home router, and all the navigation is like if I were at home. Is is possible?

Thank you

Yes, this is possible without any problems if you meet the requirements. Look here: Build your own WireGuard Home Server with two GL.iNet Routers - GL.iNet Router Docs 4

Instead of two GL-MT3000, buy one GL-MT2500 to keep it in your home and travel with the GL-MT3000.

MT2500 is 20% faster when working on VPN, so set it as server.

Sorry for the late answer and thank you for the tips.
So, I do not have to replace my main router right? So this might be my setup:

Then I use the MT3000 to travel.
