I’ll be getting my beryl ax soon. I wonder if we have updates that F50 can be directly connected to beryl ax without restarting?
so far I’ve seen they are using usb hubs with power supply to power up zte f50

Did you get your F50 already? Your Beryl AX worked with F50?
PS: I`m on the same boat, just bought a F50 and I am waiting it arrive.
@alzhao, what is the power supplied by the USB3.0 port by Brume 2 (GL-MT2500). Should it be enough for F50 or is it limited at 5V1A as the Beryl AX (GL-MT3000). And where can we get this information for your routers? I could not find it at the gl-inet webpage neither in the datasheets.
Should be max 5V1.2A
My zte f50 5g is still restarting directly connected to beryl ax or beryl ax not detecting zte f50
Just in case anyone still feeling interested on this…
Basically this is my setup to get things work,
It’s all getting down to the insufficient output power that MT3000 can provide with the USB port, so… what I added here is one extra cable (to give additional power), and a USB hub (to combine the power cable and the data cable).
So basically, plug in the output side (the side with only one male USB plug) to the MT3000’s USB port (apply a type-c to USB-A adapter if necessary); for the input side there are two ports, one for data and one for power (depending on your USB hub you got on hand, but it has to have dedicated port for additional power supply). Connect the data port with ZTE F50 with a proper cable that fits in your case, and plug in another cable to add in additional power.
Lastly, make sure MT3000 has plugged-in with a cable that can provide enough power for itself.
I tried a few different hubs I got on hand, and even tried with two power banks that serve both cables respectively, all work like a charm.
Hope that helps.
As mentioned on previous discussions, software is the problem. Does your setup continuosly work without sudden boot up of your f50 and actually works if I add another power supply?
I'm using old Beryl MT1300 with ZTE F50 and it works great with the power from Beryl's USB port. I've bought Ugreen USB-C to USB-A adapter, to make sure it'll have additionall pins to support USB 3.0 speed.
Just use a powered USB3 hub and make sure the data cable between the F50 and USB3 hub is of good quality (those which can fast charge a phone and can connect with a PC). Also put a fan on the F50 as it goes down to 4G when overheating. Aside from the F50, I've got the fan and a long USB3 cable for my flash drive (since it interferes with the 2.4G wifi signal) connected to the USB3 hub. The USB3 hub is powered by a phone charger adapter with 2.0A rating. You also need to use a good power cable for the USB3 hub. The cheap ones can't even draw more than 1.0A of current
