GL-MT300N-V2 and Fritz static routes?

Hi all

I’ve added this mini router to my actual network where I have a Fritz 7590 as main router/modem.

The fritz has 192.167.1.1 address and the glinet has 192.167.7.1 address in router network mode.

On the glinet, on the Internet page I see the address 192.167.1.125

What should I do to let them see each other ?

I can see the fritz network from the glinet (network cable from fritz goes into glinet WAN port), but I cannot see the glinet from fritz.

On the fritz i’ve made a static route to the ip address of glinet 192.167.1.125 and 192.167.7.1

What to do on the glinet?

Thanks
Woody

If you just want to access the GL.iNet router Admin Panel from the Fritz LAN, then add port forwarding rule on the GL.iNet router WAN TCP Port 80 to LAN Port 80 at IP address 192.168.7.1, via Admin Panel → Network → Firewall → Port Forwards. I suggest also adding TCP port 22 for SSH access.

The routes on the Fritz will not get through the GL.iNet router firewall.

I do not work for and I am not directly associated with GL.iNet

It sounds like you just need to open port 80 or 443 on the MT300N’s firewall page. Then access the MT300N directly with 192.167.1.125 when the client connects to fritz.

Or for the best solution, just disable the WAN firewall altogether!
