I have a problem with Adguard Home, after I updated from luci it seems that Adguard Home no longer works, after I uninstalled the application it seems that it still doesn't want to work, especially when I activate it the internet doesn't work anymore.
There is a solution to reconfigure it without going back to the basic settings with reset firmware?
I think your problem lies because you upgraded via Luci. The adguard home build included in the firmware is made to work with the firmware and is only officially updated via the Devs when they release a new FW build. The Devs disabled upgrade checks / updating due to not being fully tested per release. So it's been advised to just stick with the current release that's included.
There is however a script that has been made to upgrade adguard home. You could try and run the script and see if it will overwrite and fix your problem. Failing that you would need to reflash and then if you want to upgrade adguard home again just do it via the script and not Luci.
Script thread:
Flash the GL firmware (even the same version) in the Luci, and with 'keep settings'.
Double check config.yaml with correct version and firewall with port forward.
It works again, what is the idea behind this update, how does it work like that?
I must say that all the packages installed in luci are no longer present!
That's normal. You need to keep track of your 3rd party installed packages by yourself. See HOW-TO: Script: List My OPKGs (to a file for backup)
