GL-MT6000 VPN Problem

It's not about what Starlink delivers. But nobody seems to understand it. The router becomes slower in speed and function for no reason. Until the restart

You sure?

Its still my opinion you should sent the Flint2 back and get what works for you :call_me_hand:

Hello everyone,

I have numerous "Sonoff Smart Switch" in my house and I noticed that when the VPN is switched on (no matter which provider) they briefly lose the connection every 65 to 75 seconds and then reconnect again.

I turn off the VPN - no problems and they stay connected non-stop.

Does anyone have an idea why this is and how to fix it?

I would simply exclude them (or the target address) from VPN.

That would also be a possibility, of course you are right.
But it would also be interesting to know why it is like that. !!!

I just looked in the settings:

Do you know where to report language translation errors? I noticed a few.

Are these sonoff smart switches zigbee and connected to hub?

Likely sonoff blocks the vpn for geo location reasons.

I have the same with Aqara

Everyone is on the Flint2 and VPN is set to Global so that everything is integrated into the VPN.

But it doesn't seem to work and I have to rule it out

If you click here:

You can then add the ip of the sonoff hub, you can also use their mac address (probably for you better) that is the option down this is also for ip in my case i use a domain to exclude the aqara.com domain, if you plan to use the ip you need to make sure that sonoff hub has a reserved static ip, you can find that in the dhcp settings over here:

Then scroll down.

As for:

My post explains that.

I have many Sonoff devices (NSPanel Pro, iHost, T2 Smart Wall Switch, BASICR4) and I can't see this problem.

Which smart switch are you using?

It looks like BASICr2.
Mine are versions 3 and 4.

Try to report the bug in their forum:

But now she has been excluded from the VPn and now it seems to be working. But had to choose “Based on the client device”. Enter the respective Mac address there and exclude it from the VPN

The bug is still there... You are just not using the VPN to hide the bug.

Report it to Sonoff in their forum.
