is there a way to find out how many sessions are running on KVM (via glcloud.com and/or local)
Currently, only one remote access can be established at a time because the account can only be login by one user at a time.
However, Iocally access can be established more than one and currently has no way to check. If you are worried about the security problem, you can please enable 2FA factor.
