I just fired up a new GL-RM10 (Comet Pro) and I cannot access it via the local web browser. I am using its IP. Neither HTTP or HTTPS work. The Windows Application and the cloud remote control work but it does not respond locally. If it matters its hooked up via WiFi. Its on the newest firmware. I also factory reset it once with no change.
A lot of routers will disable peer-to-peer communication by default, could that be your case here? The goal of the setting is to protect your network if an IoT device goes rogue, but it does interfere if both the Comet and your laptop are on WiFi.
I left after posting this and by the time I came back this morning it was working. I then rebooted the thing and it is once again not working in the browser. Guessing if I wait an hour or so it will start working. Windows app is working fine. Logs are attached.
Looks like a new Firmware version just came out - it was not showing that yesterday. Will apply that and retest. its currently on V1.8.1 release1 will apply V1.8.2 release1 now.
The posts I made appear to have been approved out of order. Just to be clear, as of now it will work after the comet has been turned on for 4 or 5 hours. After each reboot it no longer works
