Video and keyboard latency is excellent connecting to my Mac Studio, but mouse latency experiences some lag when moving the mouse.
My Mac Studio has a Bluetooth-enabled mouse (Logitech Anywhere 3S for Mac) that is using the Mac’s built-in Bluetooth. I’m not sure if the host mouse has anything to do with it, but putting it out there in case it does. The mouse lag from connecting clients is experienced with a Windows 11 and MacBook Air using their built-in trackpads and using a Bluetooth connected mouse.
I’m connecting via Google Chrome (v149.0.7827.103) over 10G LAN with the Mac Studio connecting at 10G, MacBook Air hardwired at 2.5G, and the Dell Precision 7770 Windows 11 laptop hardwired at 1G. Both connecting clients experience the lag.
My current configuration:
Video: normal mode, lowest latency, lossless (have used all settings), WebRTC, best picture quality (have used adaptive without any change). Remote device settings: speaker/microphone off. Keyboard is on, bad link mode/show virtual keyboard/swap commands off. Mouse is on, show local cursor is off, mouse jiggle off, scroll rate 5, scroll direction vertical invert, mouse mode absolute (relative doesn’t work).
I’m on v1.9.1 release 1.
Is there anything that can be done to improve the latency? It seems weird that video and keyboard are fine, but the mouse isn’t. Turning the mouse/keyboard off on the host device doesn’t change anything.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide!
