Tethering works great with an iPhone. I tried a Pixel 4a 5G and neither the Opal router nor the Pixel phone show tethering as an option. I tried 3 cables. One of the cables I can connect to my MacBook and the USB Tether option on the Pixel is enabled. With same cable connected to the Opal router, Tethering on th Pixel is disabled. Any suggestions?
Can you double-check that “USB tethering” has been enabled in the Pixel connection settings? If so, then try testing the Pixel to see if it works on a PC or Mac.

Turns out a hard power cycle of the Opal allowed it to recognize the Pixel. Strange, but my issue is resolved for now
