It's a strange problem. I enabled mobile hotspot on Windows 10, then tried to connect to it on my GL-SFT1200, but never been able to connect, neither 5G or 2.4Ghz. I also tried changing its network mode to Extender, didn't work out.
My GL-AR750S and GL-MT300N both connected without any problem.
Now I have to chain them together, gl-ar750s to windows 10 first, then connect gl-sft1200 to gl-ar750s.
Does anyone know what the problem is? any suggestions?
Please share the syslog of the SFT1200 when it (try) connects to the Windows10.

I don't think so. My other two gl.inet devices can connect to mobile hotspot very quickly.
Only this one has this problem. I've upgraded firmware to the latest, no change.Tried many settings on laptop, nothing changed. I think this router's firmware must have something that's different.
What other GL router models are?

Please try copy/clone the MAC from others available GL router to SFT1200 MAC.
GL-AR750S and GL-MT300N. Both connected fine.
I tried clone AR740S's mac addr, didn't work out. It connects to other routers perfectly, just not to windows 10 hotspot.
