Just got this device yesterday and not impressed with it. Its about 4x slower than my phone with the same SIM card. I’m located in Croatia, using T-Mobile as my provider.

Any tips on speeding this thing up?

Pixel 5 should be CAT18, speeds up to 1200 Mbit/s downlink and 211 Mbit/s uplink

X1200 is CAT 4, which is 150 Mbit/s downlink. So your phone is 8 times powerful.

While you can check the modem config. You can use qmi and change ttl to 65 and try.

Thanks for the response. So I have another CAT 4 router, the Alcatel MW40 which granted me the same speed as my Pixel 5 with the same SIM card and same location. Seems to me there is a fault with the Amarok hardware.

The router in question:

It seems to me it should be underwhelming in performance when compared to the Amarok GL-X1200. But it’s actually the other way around.

Can you get the carrier info? You should have a button in the UI to get this.

The speed should can be optimized.
