Hello!
I recently purchased the GL-X3000 router from the GL.Inet store, and it’s been working fine so far without any issues. However, I had to relocate the router to be mounted on my window because the other locations didn’t provide a satisfactory signal. I discovered that the length of the AC adapter power cable is at most 1 meter long, which is clearly insufficient. Most other routers I’ve used have power cables that are at least 2 meters or at least 1.5 meters long.
I’m curious to know if GL.Inet has any reason for the short power cable on their €400 router.
Clearly it's not reducing the voltage drop GL.Inet is after.
I can find an adapter with a longer cable, but using it might void the warranty.
Thank you!
Greg
