Total noob here to routers etc.
Purchased this router based on reviews etc. But honestly the experience has been well below par for an expensive 5g router.
One of the reasons was that it was supposed to work out of the box.
Real shame that it just wont find 5g. Tried various things update firmware but then it crashes stuck in a loop.
How can they sell it like this?

This card goes on your phone, does it show 5G?
it display 4G or 4G+ on the router?
I have a 4g phone ... activated the sim on that before inserting and starting up.
Will reflash to 4.10 and borrow a 5g phone to activate the sim.

My Experience : after start router auto stop internet within 5-10 minutes, and internet and single LED light off. after this need to reboot again or reconnect cellular. and this was continue...
then i had removed sim and insert different operator sim and start modem.. then remove sim and put again regular sim.. after this no problem... i don't know how this solved... but now no problem since 1 week.
I'll try that with an ee 5g sim.
Reflash it tonight to 4.4.9 as can't source 4.4.10. Any help appreciated.

Which carrier was the original sim card from?
First insert Jio 5G (India) but not working well.. then replace with Airtel.. and again insert Jio.
No issue till now..
Three in the uk, that is the 5g sim
So i have tried the uboot method and it won't get to the page via browser. Followed the instructions for my Mac
Ok so i flashed it to 4.4.10 and looks stable.
You have to be quick when releasing the reset button and clicking refresh on browser.
Best to press refresh the do the rest thing on router.
So i put another 5g (ee) sim in and it worked.
Question, can you hot swap the sims?
The first sim (three) didn't work.
Smarty sim is the one i want to use eventually.
Finally, is there a aide memoir for the settings? As default for uk settings on the router/modem.
