Hello,
I’m thinking to buy an GL-X3000 and just wondering if would it be possible to create a DMZ on the second interface or an Vlan for that.
Never used OpenWrt before.
Or should I pass through the connection?
Thank you.

Hi
GL UI provides a single DMZ rule for the interface.
Port Forwarding - GL.iNet Router Docs 4
If you have a second WAN and plan to configure two DMZ rules, we can achieve this by creating multiple DMZ rules in Luci - Network - Firewall - Port Forwards.
Here's one example:
Enter the Internal IP address based on actual setup, keeping all other settings the same as shown in the screenshot.
Go to Advanced Settings tabs, Select the External IP address of corresponding WAN port (WAN1/WAN2) based on actual setup.
Hello, so I could create an DMZ Interface on for example eth1 with an 192.168.xxx.xxx/24 RFC Network and use eth0 for lan … or could I only switch between WAN and LAN to use 2.5 Gig …
Thx
Yes, you can create a port-based vlan or a tagged vlan on the X3000 to create a separate logical zone like a DMZ. It is not an exact how-to for the X3000, but you can use this to get you started from a knowledge perspective.
