GL-x3000 freaks out when connected to home assistant host

hi all,

Hardware:

  • GL-x3000, firmware 4.7.4,
  • Desktop
  • Mini PC, Home assistant OS
  • Mini PC, Linux Mint
  • network switch x2
  • RPI 3

So just received the x3000, setup it up, all went well until I connected the Mini PC with home assistant through a network switch, GL-x3000 freaks out and disconnects relentlessly every 30 seconds to 1 minute. When disconnecting home assistant the connection is stable.

  • I went through basic troubleshooting, resetting the GL-x3000, changing the network switch and cables. Still disconnecting.

  • Next I disconnected home assistant and connected another Mini PC, connection is stable.

  • Suspecting a software conflict, I connected a RPI 3 with a fresh OS of home assistant, connection is stable.

What could be the culprit? help!

  1. May I know is the X3000 disconnected issue in LAN or WAN?

  1. If issue is LAN, is all LAN clients lost connection?
    Can the PC ping X3000 LAN IP / gateway]?
    Can the PC access the GL GUI? If yes, please export the syslog and PM it to me.
    If issue is WAN, I think the PC should be able to access the X3000 GL GUI, please export the syslog.

  2. This is a very critical comparison test.
    It seems that the HA of Mini PC which system probably has issue. If the main router is not X3000 (like replace it to another brand router), is the network topology normal?
