GL-X3000 Help Needed – Recurring Midnight Mobile Connection Drop

Hello,

I really hope you can help me figure out what is causing my connection issues.

Every night, shortly after midnight, my mobile connection drops, and I have no idea why. There are no scheduled tasks set to reboot the device or trigger any disconnections, and my provider has confirmed that there is no interruption on their end.
At this point, I am unsure what to check next.
I rely on a stable connection, and these nightly disconnections are problematic. Ideally, I would like to prevent them entirely or, at the very least, have control over when they occur.

I appreciate any insights you can provide.

Does the connection come back or does it stay disconnected?
My provider forces a DHCP renew every 24 hours, which causes a temporary disconnection.

It does come back, sometimes fast but sometimes it takes very long to connect on its own. After restarting manually or reconnecting myself it goes way faster. I askes Telekom but they told me there would be no dc in any shape or form.

Checking the system.log from two different times. One with the disconnect and one without i noticed that right before the disconnect happens it writes:

user.notice root: modem ip different, now regain ip ...

does that mean that my provider is doing something that results in my disconnect?

Mine would do this quite often with Tmo. It was their SA towers kicking me off. NSA performed a little better as long as you could keep the connection loaded so it didn't drop CA.

That probably means your dhcp lease is expired and you get an new ip. Not something your provider is actively doing, but a result of how they configured dhcp.
