Hey on a tmobile home internet connection I have enabled Ipv6 passthrough. This works and pfsense WAN gets a GLA /64 ipv6 (no prefix delegation bc TMHI doesnt have) via dhcp6.
This works well (granted have to use nat66 with ULA addresses on my local lans because no PD) until pfsense is rebooted. Upon reboot pfsense gets the same GLA (which is still valid bc it stays after I get it working) but no traffic can pass even directly from diagnostics on pfsense WAN using diagnostic on pfsense (thus not a NAT66 issue).
I noticed in luci's routes status page that IPv6 Neighbours is empty after pfsense reboot. The only thing that fixes is to disable and reenable IPv6 on the GL-X3000 / restart the gl_ipv6 service. After this everything works and the ipv6 address GLA for pfsense WAN has stayed the same.
I have tried SLAAC on pfsense WAN and same thing. I also tried the various DHCP6 client options like:
DHCPv6 Prefix Delegation size = none
Do not wait for a RA
Use IPv4 connectivity as parent interface
and the problem persists after pfsense reboot and remains even if I let it sit for hours.
Any idea if what could fix this or if there is some bug in the GL-X3000 passthrough ip6 relay?
Thanks
