GL-X3000 SMS non-latin decoding failure

Hi,

On our GL-X3000 we are seeing some major issues with decoding non-latin SMS messages. Example below for two Greek messages - both from the same source - one encoding correctly and one is not.

Note that both messages originate from "WhatsUp" which is the telco itself - making it very unlikely that the issue is with the sending source. On a regular phone these messages would be displayed correctly.

Is there a way to export/view the raw SMS data, allowing to check the encoding scheme and such? Currently these are not displayed/decoded correctly, making it virtually impossible to read the messages. What's the best way to file a bug report?

Thank you.

They are stored as files in /var/spool/sms/* - you should be able to check them using SSH.

Thanks. Not sure if that works though; or am I running into some of the overlay FS stuff?

root@GL-X3000:~# ls -al /var/spool/
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 60 Dec 31 11:19 .
drwxrwxrwt 26 root root 720 Dec 31 15:54 ..
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 60 Dec 31 11:19 cron

Any insights from Gl.iNet? How can we get this bug resolved?
