Hello again friends,
I'm BACK as a continued happy user of my GL-X3000 for my T-Mobile lines - both the TMHI and the TABLET / PHONE lines when needed.
SO ... I actually purchased TWO new GL-X3000 Units (arrived today for family members) and I decided to just do an "out of the box" setup. I stuck the sims in, set them up, and did the system firmware upgrade etc and things worked pretty well!
In the past we were told we needed to do things like turning off autoselect and making sure we used the ROW_COMMERCIAL for the profile in the modem with the AT command.
But I decided today to just try the units "right out of the box" setting the TABLET and TMHI sim profiles with the proper APN / TTL etc and IMEI and quite frankly it seems to be working nicely
So ... since the time I got the first unit and now - is it no longer necessary to mess around with AT commands and using the ROW_COMMERCIAL profile instead of the TMO Commercial profile that it defaults to?
I just want to be sure that the "stock profile" is OK or do I have to go through the motions and make sure ROW_COMMERCIAL is selected?
MODEM FIRMWARE VERSION OUT OF BOX: RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G_01.201.01.201
AND ROUTER SYSTEM FIRMWARE is latest: 0704release5
Appreciate any input ... since I don't wanna have to do any other work if not necessary HAHA!
