GL-X3000 with External Antenna

Hi. I currently have a RV roof mounted Antenna with MiMo 2x2 SMA connectors connected to a Netgear M2 router. I want to upgrade the router to a GL-X3000 and see it has 4x4 SMA connectors.

Would I be able to use the current roof mounted antenna and connect only 2 ?

Yes. Please refer to this post for instructions:

You can connect this Proxicast antenna to the X3000 MAIN and DIV Cellular antenna connectors, and still keep the other two Cellular antenna connectors (MIMO1 and MIMO2) with the original paddle antennas. The reason is LTE signal only uses MAIN and DIV two antennas, but 5GNR signal must use four antennas in some cases.
