Gl x3000

Hi!
Im been using this router for 1 month and had no issues or the need to change any settings or update firmware.

Since 2 weeks ago my router suddenly dropped internet connection and when i got it re-running the speed dropped from stable 300mbit to 15-40mbit and now disconnects frequently.

I tried to upgrade the firmware to 4.7.4 and that made things even worse so i downgraded to 4.4.13 (since i dont know the factory firmware version).

What firmware and settings do you recommend to use?

OpenWrt 21.02-SNAPSHOT
Modem: RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G
Firmware: 4.4.13 (works best with tapo cam when reboot)
Multiwan disabled.
Apn settings manally set with filters.

When i run my old mr600 router with the same sim i get no issues.

Yours,
Sebastian

Hello, the cellular problem might be related to network environment.

  1. Check the current cell bands used by router, refer to Band Masking and block current cell bands or lock GL router to same cell bands as your mr600 router, see if it will help.
  2. Try setting the cellular TTL to 65/89 through cellular manual setup to see if it will help to improve the speed.

Also, it's advised to use a power adapter with 12V/2.5A
