I want to use GL-X300B Collie as a Wifi repeater with failover to 4G LTE on my boat. The Boat has a 12V battery system with Solar, mains battery charger and engine alternator charging meaning the voltage can fluctuate between 9-16V or more regularly 12-14.5V. I have a couple of questions:
- Can I power the router from the ‘9-36V DC’ connection where the RS485 connector is?
- Can the router tolerate the voltage fluctuations shown above if I were to power it through the regular “power in” port directly from the battery (through a breaker)?
