GL2500A Not working - 3 different routers.

I purchased three of your Brume 2 routers and none of them the appear to be working. I must be doing something wrong. Here’s what I have done so so far.

  1. I went through the steps using the app. Plugged into two different wireless routers was not able to access your router on either one of them. I tried all the different options to connect the scanning of the barcode manually, putting in the IP scanning for the device nothing worked. I reset all three routers and it still does not work.

  2. I tried to connect a device to the land port. This was an android network tester that has a chrome browser. You could see the top of the browser that it recognize the device, but the screen was blank. Connected to 192.168.8.1.

  3. I even tried to connect it with this device through the ap-router using the IP assigned to the to you router.

None of this worked. I did not get an error, but going to the browser and pulling up this IP. It was just a blank screen. I’m not sure what to do. Nothing is working. I would think that maybe I have a bad router, but all three of them are doing the same thing the exact same thing.

I’m not able to give you any firmware versions because I am not been able to get into it to see.

Please do not use the smartphone app because you need another wifi router to help which makes things complicated.

Just use a normal computer, Windows or Macbook, connect via Ethernet cable to the LAN port.
Internet cable should connect to the WAN port.

On your computer, open a browser and access 192.168.8.1 to set up.
