GLINET firmware based on OpenWRT 25.12 for MT6000

Good afternoon. Is there a date for MT6000 to have a GLInet firmware based on OpenWRT 25.12, including also the fixes for the DDNS and the wifi that is not starting when booting the router?

Hi

We currently plan to release the 4.9.x-op25 version for the MT6000 after v4.9 is officially launched.

Regarding the issue where DDNS does not start automatically after the router boots up, please refer to the temporary workaround below:

As for the issue with Wi-Fi not starting, could you please provide more details along with the steps required to reproduce the problem? We have not been able to replicate this issue locally.

When the 4.9 it’s expected to be released?

With regards to the two issues:

  1. DDNS already used the workaround, but I would expect to have a fix.

  2. Wifi: with the 4.8.2 and 4.8.3, when using only the 5 GHZ without the 2.4GHz, at reboot the 5GHz is not run, I had to add manually the run of the 5GHz. So another workround, again, I would love to see the fix added.

Hi,

So, if no major bugs will be present in the op21 version, I would expect soon after that to see 4.9 on op25

Waiting here as well for this.

nope!

This is a bit unusual. We tried to reproduce the issue locally based on the steps you provided, but were unable to do so.

On the MT6000 v4.8.3-op24 firmware, after disabling 2.4 GHz and rebooting, other devices are still able to detect the 5 GHz SSID and connect normally.

Have you tried resetting the device to factory settings? If not, it may be worth trying to see if it helps.
