I upgraded the GLKVM app to 1.3 on MacOS Tahoe and its almost unusable due to high latency or lag, for both mouse and keybord input. It is solved by installing back version 1.2 of the GLKVM app.
This is controling the Comet (GL-RM1) on latest firmware (1.7.2)
Thanks for the response. I can confir to @Kyrie that connecting through glkvm(dot)com have the same issue. And thanks to @minmie response I can confirm that connecting directly to LAN IP solves the problem.
For anyone else who have this problem. As of now the GLKVM app (in my case on MacOS) and the glkvm(dot)com website do not properly route keyboard and mouse through Local Network when both client and server are on the same network (LAN access). They are only only optimized for access from internet. THE SOLUTION: use previous version of the GLKVM app (in my case 1.2 on macos) or access the server directly to its local network IP Address (the one starting with 192.168…) on a browser.
I wonder if it is more due to 1.3 being INTEL and not apple silicon? If I only use locally, which is what I want, I have disabled cloud, using safari with manual and ultra high, I have VERY little lag. I feel like GLKVM app is basically just a web view but using intel emulation and slow.
