GLSTF1200 Wireless Bridge Issue

There seems to be an issue with wireless bridging on GL-SFT1200 when the SSID is hidden it does not connect even if entered manually.

Scenario is the following:
I have 2 GL-SFT1200's, one in router mode the other in extender mode.
If I hide the SSID on the router unit in router mode then the extender does not connect.
If I make the SSID visible again it will connect immediately. If I hide the SSID (set visibility=hidden) afterwards then the extender will remain connected until it is power cycled. After power cycle, the extender mode unit refuses to connect again.

Firmware: 4.3.17

Would you be able to guide me through a step by step process of how you configured this so I can recreate it?

  1. on wan router nothing was changed but SSID and passkey, also SSID visibility was set to hidden.
  2. On bridge router I used the extender wizard and manual entry SSID field to attempt to connect but it always times out.

If the SSID is set to visible on the wan router then bridge router connects as expected.

Both units are GL-SFT1200's fw version 4.3.17
