Guide to recover Flint 2 - MT6000 via TFTP

As the title states. I flashed some bad firmware and my router is now bricked. I can't get Uboot or anything.
I tried to used that manual from openwrt to recover from TFTP. I have the server running on my laptop just can't seem to flash firmware onto the router. It could be something I'm doing wrong. I wanted to know if any have a guide that can help me recover my router.

Thanks.

To my knowledge, everyone who flashed a wrong firmware has a bricked device now. This is why it is very important to flash the correct firmware.
When you power on the device, do you still receive a ping answer from the device?

It depends on the wrong firmware. If it overwrites all flash memory, the device should be bricked - yeah.

It was plain openwrt firmware that's supposed to be compatible with the MT-6000. The newest release 24.10.0-rc2 downloaded directly from the firmware selector.

Anyways, I figured it out. The problem was you can't access Uboot from the 2.5Gb ports because it's not supported, which was not mentioned on the debrick guide from GL. A very important information to left out. So if anyone having problem accessing Uboot, remember to use port #3 not the first 2.

Please use only v4 of docs: Debrick via Uboot - GL.iNet Router Docs 4

Got it. However Doc 4 still doesn't mention you can't access Uboot via 2.5Gb ports, which is the main issue.

Correct - I've raised this before here:
Debricking my Flint 2: can't get to uboot interface - #4 by 2lame

Hopefully it gets fixed soon, because it's a very important information to be left out on a debricking manual.
