Hi do you know if there are plans to make Haproxy 2.3 or later available? I am interested in the syslog forwarding feature and so need a newer version
Depending on your router you can already download a newer version: [OpenWrt Wiki] package: haproxy
I have mt300n’s, I did do a package list refresh and checked but could only find Haproxy 2.0. I will check again as I hadn’t have my morning coffee at that time!
The package list will only give you the packages GL included, so there won't be any updates.
But downloading the package manually from a newer repo might help
just checked, yes i can only see the private repos, and i guess they only have the older version

I found solution, i upgraded the firmware to version 4.3.18, and that has haproxy v2.4, though as I was going from v3 to v4 i lost my settings, which is going to be interesting as i have 80+ routers all remote that i need to do this on (but thats another problem!!!)

Depending on the device you might lose other features as well, like file sharing.
