Has anyone had success with a HDMI->VGA adapter

Looking into the Comet KVM but all of the old servers in my rack only have vga video outputs. Has anyone had success with a HDMI->VGA adapter with the Comet KVM?

No experience with VGA but I have been using a DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter with no problem at all.

I have actually just seen a video on the tube with a guy using a POWERED VGA TO HDMI adapter (and make sure it is not the other way round) with no issues.

I have tested it. It works. It's a VGA TO HDMI adapter

Would you be willing to share which adapter works for you?

I can confirm that the StarTech VGA2HDU (powered VGA to HDMI) does not work.

It might be related to the fact that your motherboard can only output a certain specific resolution. You have to first confirm whether it is this problem. You can use the command dmesg| grep 6911 to see what resolution the motherboard is trying to input into COMET.
