Help with USB tethering not working with IPV4

Hello everyone.

I am not able to share my 5g internet using an iPhone connected to the USB port. It only works when I enable IPV6 on my GL-MT2500 (Brume 2) but 90% of my devices connected to the network (IOT) only supports IPV4.

The strange part is that I can ping both Cloudflare and Google but cannot open a website or anything else on my Windows PC.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

ping www.google.com does it work?

Try to reduce MTU of the tethering, like 1280 or less

Isn't there an option on the iPhone for compatibility mode or something, in the hot-spot settings..

Hello! I believe this only affects Wi-Fi, so it opens a 2.4ghz hotspot for older devices that doesn't support 5ghz, not when tethered using USB. Thanks.

Does it do the same without vpn enabled?

Yes, I did try to disable both Wireguard and OpenVNP, still did not worked.

From what I can tell, the router has all your devices connected, 61 clients.

Ipv6 isn't active on the router.

Tethering is connected and has an ip.

I think you might be misunderstanding something.

Can you ping the gateway or the ip of the iPhone from internally on the network via ipv4?
