Home Assistant integration for Lafaer LWR01/LWR02

Sharing a small open-source project I recently made:

GitHub: GitHub - VAIO-Dong/ha-lafaer: Brings most Lafaer App features to Home Assistant for LWR01 and LWR02 presence sensors. · GitHub

It's a custom Home Assistant integration for the Lafaer LWR01/LWR02 presence sensors.

The standard Matter integration exposes the basic sensor data, but a lot of the device's advanced configuration isn't available through Matter. The Lafaer App can configure those features locally, so I built a HA panel that brings most of that functionality into Home Assistant.

It currently supports things like radar configuration, sensitivity, detection modes, distance segments, thresholds, self-learning, LED control, device information, debugging, etc.

If you're using an LWR01 or LWR02 with Home Assistant, feel free to give it a try.

The integration can be installed through HACS as a custom repository or manually.

Full instructions and screenshots are available in the GitHub README.

Feedback, bug reports, and suggestions are welcome!

Hi,

Thank you for sharing this community-developed integration and for documenting its features and installation clearly. Bringing the LWR01/LWR02’s advanced configuration options into Home Assistant should be useful for users who need more than the standard Matter integration currently exposes.

We appreciate the time and effort you put into this open-source project and look forward to hearing feedback from the community.
