Greetings,

We setup the unit, removed unwanted packages, programmed and setup luci.

How do we make an image so that we can flash other units and restore in case we brick it?

You cannot do that. You removed some packages but actually they are still in the flash. You cannot remove something was originally in the firmware. You can only remove packages you installed.

Note: you may not be able to generate a firmware exactly like us with our UI. But you can generate a firmware with only necessary software packages for your own use.
