How to change imei of 4GDONG001

Hello everyone,

I have H760 4G USB WIFI Dongle Broadband Modem Stick 150Mbps 4G LTE Router USB Wifi Adapter (4GDONG001) which I have received my aliexpress.
Unfortunately it's IMEI is not registered on Telecommunication Authority in my country and they asking me to pay it tax in order to use it.

There is an option to change it's IMEI but it's not working. Every time I try to change its IMEI it say password error. While there is no password set before. I also tried the admin password but it also not working. Is there anyway to change its IMEI? for reference I have attached some images.

You might try to brute force the password, maybe it's admin or 0000 or 123456789 or something like that.

Hey, I had the same question and figured it out. The password is simply stored in a javascript file on the settings webpage, the one under webpack that corresponds to the "other" settings page. Somewhere there there is an "if" check, and it just compares the entered password with the unencrypted password.

In my case, the password was zxcvb (or else zxcvbn, i dont remember haha!)
