How to change the battery?

Mudi works without connection to battery pack - we have verified. No battery, no problem.

Regarding MUDI, I have not seen anything similar in terms of a compact 4G router.

If you know of any, please post here.

As for replacing the battery, I agree that it would be great if users could replace the battery themselves without throwing away the device, so as not to pollute our already dirty world.

I don't know why GL.INET isn't working yet? => Modular Router ! :waving_hand:

It's beneficial both economically and environmentally.

All users would buy batteries or other parts from the company that sold them the device.

Here's a great example of how it works.

I want 5% for the idea)):grinning_face: Write to me, I'll send you the account number :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Checking in 1.5 years later – my replacement 605065-based battery pack is still working and keeping the mudi alive and kicking.

Hi @Matrix
Thanks for your feedback.

If you have a photo of the battery you replaced and it’s working properly, please attach it here; I’m sure it will be helpful to other users.

If anyone has statistics on how long the battery lasted from the time of purchase until it failed, it would be interesting to know.
Is it two years or more, depending on usage?

  1. Are there any third-party manufacturers selling such batteries?
  2. How can I extend the battery’s lifespan?
  3. Is it possible to buy a new battery from GL.iNet?

Hello! I managed to separate the two swollen pouch cells from the charging controller and spot-weld two 18650 cells in parallel in their place. They fit perfectly inside the battery compartment, and everything is working great so far.
