Hello, how do I re-create/re-compile 4.7.0-op24 for GL-MT3000 using the source code?
gl-infra-builder seems to have been deleted, and yet your product is build on the open source - please point me to the sources and instructions needed to re-compile.
You're not able to use any of the closed source proprietary stuff.
4.7.0-op24 is at this moment Openwrt 24.10.0-rc2 cloned to GL-iNet repository, GL proprietary sauce added, built and released.
So the closest you can get is building 24.10.0-rc2 for the base.
Openwrt is open source, by definition - any derivative of it also needs to be an open source. I am not looking for the source code for proprietary binaries, as long as they are provided in a binary format. But any company whose products are based on open source need to maintain an open source repository, including build scripts, which is what I am looking for.
You won't be able to get this, it's not available.
Wishful thinking..no one follows that thinking anymore, it's more of a saying these days. Look at all the open source projects that were closed.. ESXi2.x was based on Linux kernel, they were caught, and closed anything public eyes to the code.
Enjoy the development from brands like gl.inet, eero, etc and if you can add code to open public repos, pls do.
