How to Debrick MT3000

After upgrading OpenWRT, the MT3000 fails to boot normally. After starting it via the debrick tutorial, pinging 192.168.1.1 results in intermittent connectivity, and accessing http://192.168.1.1 via Chrome shows page not found.

Hi,

Please help verify the following:

  1. When performing step two of the debricking guide, did you hold the reset button before powering on and release it only after the LED turned solid white?
  2. In step four, did you manually set a static IP address as instructed?
  3. Please confirm you are using the MT3000's original power supply or another adapter rated for 5V/3A.

For reference, here is the debricking guide again: What should I do if my router is bricked - GL.iNet Router Docs 4

If the device still cannot be recovered through the debrick procedure and is under warranty, please contact [email protected] with a link to this post, your purchase channel, and your order number to request after-sales support.

After switching my browser from Safari to Chrome, I can now see the U-Boot page. Thank you so much!
