How to disable DHCP service in MT300A?

Hi,
I use GL-MT300A and firmware 2.265.
How do I disable DHCP for LAN so that DNS continues to work?
DHCP relay disrupts the network because there is already another DHCP on the network.

I tried to unlink the DHCP from the LAN interface, but it didn’t help.

Unfortunately, I didn’t wait for advice
So I stupidly deleted the packages odhcp6c and odhcpd

I don’t know how well I did it, but it works.

This should be a safer method if you have to do it again in the future:

Log into the LuCI UI and go to Network → Interfaces → LAN → Edit. On the DHCP Server tab, Check/Enable Ignore interface to turn off the DHCP server. Save and Apply the settings, then reboot the router.

I do not work for and I am not directly associated with GL.iNet

Thank you, that’s exactly what I did:

I tried to unlink the DHCP from the LAN interface, but it didn’t help

After that I deleted the packages and it worked.

That is strange. It has worked for me on other GL.iNet routers.

Another option is to go to Network → System → Startup and Stop+Disable the DHCP server from starting up.

Network → System → Startup and Stop+Disable the DHCP server

Thank you.
Unfortunately, there was no such useful option in my menu, otherwise I would have used it right away.

Sorry, I was going by memory because I am not at home to check on my router.

The option is actually LuCI → System → Startup, but the service may no longer be there after you deleted packages.

I also reproduce it from memory
: this opportunity did not exist BEFORE the packages were removed.
