How To Get Access To Channel 14

Hello,

I have the GL-AXT1800 & I am wondering if this router supports WiFi channel 14, I've set my country code to Japan & the maximum channel I could set was 13.

Does the router's antennas not support channel 14 or is there something more I must do? Maybe a way to manually enable it in Luci?

In Japan, the regulations governing the use of WiFi channels are restricted by Japanese radio regulations. According to Japanese radio regulations, the range of WiFi channels typically extends from channel 1 to channel 13. Therefore, under normal circumstances, WiFi devices within Japan are not permitted to use channel 14.

Channel 14 is valid only for DSSS and CCK modes (Clause 18 a.k.a. 802.11b) in Japan. OFDM (i.e., 802.11g) may not be used. (IEEE 802.11-2007 ยง 19.4.2)
